In terms of WordPress stuff, WeblogToolsCollection.com publishes a large amount of content over the course of a year. In this two part series, I’ll be highlighting some of the best content that will not only give you a glimpse of the progress made regarding WordPress but also remind you of some of the more important stories that took place during the year. For me personally, 2010 has been a really tough year both financially and personally. Not only did I lose my future father father-in-law to prostate cancer, but my little endeavor to create a WordPress centric community site that helped me to pay the bills flopped. I’m hoping 2011 is much better than 2010 and for those of you that celebrate it, Happy New Years!. So when you want to take those discussions to their own piece of your website and create a forum what should you do? Well there are quite a few options out there for forums and discussion boards.  […]

Short answer? It is jumpin! Have you checked out the Plugin Competition Blog recently? There are six new plugins announced for the competition and all of them look fantastic. The comments have been very positive and visitors have been actively rating the entries as they come in. Here is what we have so far: Tweetable: Another Twitter integration plugin for WordPress (we really need to consolidate these, but there is feature differentiation) Live Blogging Plugin: Setup a live blog within minutes, needs Meteor ImageShack Offloader: Move your image hosting to ImageShack Max Image Size Control: Finer granular control of image sizes in WordPress WP Devel: Add a whole bunch of debug options to your WordPress blog WP Update Message: Tweak and refine the update messages in your WordPress admin panel In addition to these plugins, I know of at least 10 others that are being developed for the competition and […]
