   Wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to mark themes that seem promising, sort of like the star system in Google Reader. One could then go back weeks or months later and see one’s list of favorites?

   THe “hip hop” theme is a little to stereotypical for me. I do like the artful magazine theme though.

   I like The Wind Cries Mary, looks great. Dayvan also looks nice, nice and clean.

   I also though that I would see my theme InSight listed this time. Well, better luck next time

   These themes are not new.. well newish… but i think theme release for here is getting a little boring.

   yeah kinda repetitive theme nothing original really.

   Dayvan Theme
   Theme designed and built by Richard Dunlop-Walters, optimized by Adam Carmody.
   1. Its a nice generic (hemmingway style) theme, Failed validation.
   2. There is “plugin fatal error” on Archive Pages

   HipHop
   The worse of all, font type, line height & spacing is really weird. The Yoda banner is too much. Red Background and Purple Banner doesn’t quite blend.

   2. UTF bomb in theme.
   3. Invalid XHTML & CSS
   5. Colors doesnt blend
   6. No preview for single_page, page, archive.

   Photoshopfox
   The runner up, consistent styles.
   2. The sidebar is nice
   3. valid xhtml & css.
   4. Good typo
   One caveat thought.

   the typography demo – heading, unordered list and ordered list doesnt render. You are lazy designer. Next time write the code dont just copy pastor.

   The Wind Cries Mary
   1. generic (2004 styles)
   2. no preview for single,archive & page.
   3. invalid theme is render in weird mixup charset.

   ArtFull Magazine
   the winnor, grid & new minimalist styles really compliment the magazine 3 column layout. Its well balances & good used of whitespace.

    PhotoShopFox is the clear winner today. Great use of color, layout, size, structure, and the WP plugins are a sweet touch.

    I love it when designers create themes with bloggers in mind.
