I didn’t realize that the thirteen listed were the entries. (plus scores of “Developers wanted” and many more plugins already listed) We need to advertise this contest more. (please, please, please, help me get the word out) Come on, if you are holding back on your plugin entry – stop holding back. This is a great way of giving back to the WordPress Community. Sure wish I had the time and stuffing to do a plugin, but cheers on all who are participating!!! GO GO GO GO GO GO!
I’ve found some really terrific plugins through the competition. I am now looking into being able to donate toward the prizes ๐
….just donated ๐
Maby the rules of the competition are not too clear, thus discouraging people to join in.
Dan, no issue has ever been raised about the competition rules. What confuses you and who are the people that are discouraged?
What has always lost me is what the limitation on these “mods” are. I think I posted a comment about this a while back, but I never got a clear cut answer.
There are no limitations. If your “mod” uses wordpress as the core of the code, you are eligible.
It would be cool to have a mini-forum where we could discuss the competition. Or maybe we can all just agree to use a tag like “plugin-comp” in the WP forum.
I will have to look into that!
