Is there a file to reload in my installations to show the automatic upgrade? I would really like to upgrade to 2.8, but WP is telling me 2.7.1 is the latest version.

  2. Alex Rodriguez says:

What’s the delay in it making its way to SVN?

Thanks Mark – I got the upgrade banner on all three of my current sites and have successfully upgraded all three to 2.8 without issue.

Currently all plugins are working without problems as well and I have a big variety of them:

When I upgraded to WordPress 2.8 my customized banner was replaced by a blank blue banner. I reuploaded my Default Theme where I had created my company banner but it didn’t help. You can view it at http://www.blueskywebco.com/blog

    Any suggestions are most welcome!

Can anyone lead me in the direction of how to put back links on the top of my blog?

I can put a link to my website into the footer but that’s about it.

And to think I missed 2.8 and went right to 2.8.1
I must have missed the update notice back then. But now they have 2.8.3, which has added a lot of security fixes and small bug fixes.
