Of the above, I’ve used Simple Trackback Validation and YAK. Simple Trackback Validation seems to work pretty good; however, it seems to ignore the Strictness setting. Regardless, through using it, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in trackback spam. I tried YAK as an alternate for WP e-Commerce and I could not get it to work right with WP 2.2.1. I’m interested in it though as WP e-Commerce is not a good fit for every situation and it’s good to have alternatives.
Good job Jim. Thanks for the plugins 😉
