I am surprised to see very little discussion for this service but am not surprised with the lack of fanfare or threats of switching. Ping-O-Matic does such an amazing job (amazing == you set it and forget it; well if you use WordPress you don’t even need to set it) that I can never see myself switching.

[Continue Reading...]I have re-written this article many times and have come close to posting it but have backed away because I felt my thoughts were either too antagonistic (which I strive to avoid) or were just too self serving (which I strive to avoid as well). However, I feel too strongly about this topic for me to ignore it forever, so here is the gist of my thoughts. I really like the word attribution and I find the lack of attribution disturbing. I bring this up because there are thousands of websites that absorb and regurgitate information published elsewhere for monetary gain without so much as a line stating where the original item was published.
