I have just released the Bad Behavior Stats plugin v2.1 Updates in this release. Link to Bad Behavior homepage fixed Title attributes added to the BBStats and Bad Behavior Links New variable %totalcount% added for displaying total number of access attempts if verbose logging is enabled. Now, admin functions and wp-dash functions are only declared if on the admin page and if wp-dash is installed respectively, thereby saving on processing time. Read more and download the plugin>>

Blogging is more fun when it is quick, painless and still creates satisfying results. I use quite a few browser and WordPress tools and tricks to make life simpler. Some of these are built into WordPress (and might be lesser known) while others I have developed out of necessity or as a learning challenge. I often wonder if there are new ways to use old tools or new methods to make an old task simpler or more bearable. I have a feeling that most WordPress bloggers have a few of these up their sleeve. But since these have become habits, they rarely get shared with others. I know that I would not sing the praises of “Press It” after using it constantly for four years, but maybe I should. WordPress 2.x Filters Comprehensive List for Plugin and Theme Developers. I like this list and have come across something similar on the Codex but I cannot recall the URI. Also look for WordPress 2.x Hooks from Angsuman. My only gripe is the presentation, but thats the author’s choice and the nature of the beast.

Peter has just released v1.2 of his Sociable Plugin. It fixes a few more bugs to make it compatible with WordPress 1.5 as well as 2.0. Social bookmarking sites allow websurfers to save, catalog, and share interesting pages they find online. The Sociable plugin appends links for your readers to use those sites to the end of each of your blog’s posts, increasing your potential audience.
