sxore sxore is an identity and reputation system for blog authors, readers and commenters. By acting as an intermediary between blog posts and comments, sxore provides a framework of identity for participants in the blog dialog. At its simplest, this framework stops comment spam by requiring commenters to prove that they’re not automated spam bots, and by providing moderation tools to blog authors. Sounds interesting? Read more at the link above. I got bored after the first few paragraphs because I thought they were overthinking the whole commenting thing. Also, their website has a distinct “Flickr” feel to it. Anyone use their beta software yet?

Performancing Metrics

Performancing Metrics After having tried Google Analytics for a while (and having removed them) I have installed the newly released Performancing Metrics to give it a quick try. Check out some of the new features including (possibly) cool bitsof information such as Adsense clicks. The presentation seems a lot more lucid and easy to access/understand than Google, but then again, my account has no data so far. Expect a review soon. PS: For all those scratching your heads … The stats update hourly, so give it a couple of hours and then check again.

The bottom line on blogging He’s been known to openly criticize the company he works for, with thousands of opinion-leaders listening in. In the process, he’s become one of his company’s most publicly recognizable employees. But, at the same time, Scoble and a group of employees like him have done something millions of dollars in advertising couldn’t. The purpose of this link is two fold. The topic of the article is interesting in its own right, but the author’s style really made me think. Write the gist of your article in two short lines at the beginning of your post and make it really interesting.
