WordPress 3.3 was released just 4 days ago, and it has now been downloaded over 1 million times, surpassing the record previously held by WordPress 3.2. Given some rough math, that’s about 250,000 downloads of WordPress each day!

If you haven’t upgraded to WordPress 3.3 yet, or you have never tried WordPress, now’s the perfect time to give it a shot. Let’s see what sort of record download numbers we can bring WordPress 3.3 to in its first week!

I think the upgrade is safe immediately. But, you might want to double check for bugs. You can never be too sure.
