This plugin runs “afterwards” ideally you would want also functionality to have a sideload “immediately” when you edit a post. I have not found a plugin for that yet so this is the best option until now.
if the provider of my WP blog said that the theme I downloaded is already SEO optimized, should I still get the WordPess SEO plug-in? just so my blog will have a better ranking in Google

Edvard, in a new version (which is announced in this post), there is option for automatic caching (ie. when you save/publish post).
