   We used Justin Tadlock’s Hybrid News on our free press release wordpress site (http://www.your-story.org/) – with a couple of tiny changes, its really powerful and perfect for our needs – highly recommended!

   The Mimbo theme doesn’t seem to be ready quite yet for prime time. The images don’t load on the front page. Looking at the support forum, I don’t seem to be alone.

     Thanks for the mention, Ajay.

     @rick: the image script been ‘prime time’ for over a year, including in all themes from WooThemes, Elegant Themes, Mimbo Pro and elsewhere. Depending on how you post images, there are things which go wrong, but they’re mostly covered in the FAQ.

       The only way I got it to work was to change the permissions of the entire /mimbo directory to 777, not just the /scripts and /cache directory as the faq mentions. I looked at the forums and it seemed a lot of other people were experiencing the same problem.

         Odd – there have been about 600 downloads, but just a small handful of permissions problems. I’ll add it to the FAQ regardless – thanks for the tip, Rick.
