Awesome that John Kolberts plugin was added to the page. I personally use it and it’s actually quite the time saver even if it’s one of the simplest plugins ever created.

Also worthy of mentioned is the socialize my plugin which I bet will be a huge hit with SEO types of people.

  3. Tadd says:

hmm .. interesting releases. Though why you need a plug to install a favicon I don’t know. But that’s just me.
Socialize Me looks very promising. Probably the best of the bunch.
AutoInfo looks good too – if it does what I’m assuming it does.
Aflinks .. no idea on this one. Seems like another plug that was promoted … SmartLinks? It’s in a different language so I have no clue what they’re sayin there .. haha ..

    Hi,
One or two plugins interested myself.
    Thx

  5. Jeffro2pt0 says:

@Tadd The reason for this plugin is so that when you have 5-10 tabs opened in FireFox, you really only get to see the favicon of the site in the tab. Configuring a favicon for the admin panel ensures that you can immediately figure out which tab is your wordpress administration area. There has been too many times where I have to cycle through all of my tabs in order to search for the admin area and this eliminates that need to do so.

  6. John Kolbert says:

Thanks for explaining my plugin better Jeffro! You saved me some trouble!

  7. @balootisme says:

i’d register to affi.net…(making an extra bucks for my new wordpress blog)

  8. bloggingirl says:

Thanks! I’m definitely interested in AutoInfo and Socialize Me! =]

  9. Scott says:

Does anyone know of a plugin that will work with Quickbooks Point of Sale software to create an online store?

  10. Rahul Bansal says:

    Thanks for the review! 🙂

Its an honour to be part of this list…

  11. For whatever reason there’s a problem with my account at WordPress.org so I can’t add my updated plugin right now, so I’ll “plug” the Devowelizer here in the meantime. 🙂

  12. John Kolbert says:

Due to a problem with the plugin I was using to manage downloadable files, the URL for the AdminFavicon plugin has changed. You can find the direct download link here: http://simply-basic.com/wp-con.....d.php?id=2

I know, it’s ugly. But it’s better then the 500 Internal Server Error I was getting from the permalink redirection!
