I adore Top100Bloggers and I’ve found some fascinating blogs by browsing through the list, but none of the statistics seem to match the level that the Top100Bloggers attain.

I’d love to see an explanation on the site on how the numbers work. I’ve seen blogs make it to the top 10 who have tiny numbers compared to some in the lower 50s. Is the top blog positions set by the traffic from the site driven to Top100Bloggers site? By comments? By the site’s overall traffic and statistics? By votes? Or a combination?

It would help us all understand what is so special and what it takes to make it as one of the Top 100 Bloggers.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the service so far, Lorelle. To give you a little insight, it currently is based purely on the vote count on a per blog basis. We are looking into using a formula which takes all aspects of the details of a site into consideration, and then ranking based on those details. That will be a project for the future though.

We are just working hard to create a community so people can learn about each other’s blogs. We are primarily here as a central uniting place for everyone so they can share and learn.

Thanks again for supporting us, we do appreciate it =)
