Though some of the history of comment spammage and prevention is accurate, I am a little dissappointed with the article in general. Mark concentrates on Movable Type and his “Blogger Parry” suggestions to battle comment spam are not complete by any means. WordPress users have far more recourses to prevent comment spam than the article gives the “general blogging tool” credit for, with new methods being explored all the time (see previous post).
