Updated Plugins

WP-Table Reloaded

WP-Table Reloaded enables you to create and manage tables in your WP’s admin area. No HTML knowledge is needed. A comfortable backend allows to easily edit table data. Tables can contain any type of data and additional JavaScript libraries can be used to extend it with features like sorting, pagination, filtering, and more. You can include the tables into your posts, on your pages or in text widgets by using a shortcode or a template tag function. Tables can be imported and exported from/to CSV, XML and HTML.

New2WP Author Box

What the Author Box plugin does is it utilizes the WordPress dashboard profile section, which is a somewhat neglected area of the dashboard. It will remove the Yahoo IM field which many may find rather useless, and adds a field for the users Twitter name. did you guys notice that AEC has increased in price from $10 a year to $25 a year? Their blog claims there turning off people by having their prices so low. THat is a bunch of crapola, there are 900+ plugins for wordpress, and having 1 set at $25 a year, who can afford that for every single plugin? your talking about thousands of dollars a year just for plugins, if other people follow that same example.

I’m sorry, but I think them raising their rates is a BAD idea.
I think there lying about what they said on their blog about getting criticism about having their prices so low. do they not realize there are 900+ plugins out there for wordpress??? None of us can afford to pay for all of them you know!! its a bunch of burocracy if you ask me, the author of the plugin getting greedy. I think what he said on his blog is a complete lie, nobody ever said their prices are too low, nobody would ever say that. $10 a year was high enough, but $25 is just rediculous. I stopped using trillian, a whole instant messaging program when they started going paid, and my opinion still stands on plugins. I’m not against authors getting revenue for their work, but I’m against passing those stupidly high prices onto us, when not all of us can afford to pay so much for all these dang plugins.

if they pass those prices onto me, I will cease using AEC and will boycott from ever going with them again, or any other company that follows that same policy. I’d gladly pay $25 a year for wordpress, but NOT for a plugin! much of less 900 of ‘em that are out there in the community, that do so much more then what AEC does in the first place! I mean common $25 a year just to edit a comment? even after I paid for it nobody on my blog ever uses it, so I gotta pay $25 a year now when the user base I have don’t use it? that rediculous!!

Isn’t that a decision of the authors?

I don’t see how AEC’s price increase is relevant to our posts out here at WLTC?

Click And Call <– This is a killer plugin for all business owners. Recently, I have been offering link building service on my blog and find it difficult to have a support panel on wordpress itself. Noticing most clients prefer to talk over the phone when it comes to SEO, this is a must plugin for all SEO blogs that offers services. Excellent sharing!
