Thank you for the post. Glad to learn of the continuing development of Virtual Multiblog (VMB) for single WP. I am going to check it out.
I first noticed VMB by Stephen two years ago when I compared, tested and chose between Drupal, WPMU, Lifetype, Lyceum, VMB on single WP, and Pivot to incorporate to an existing site. WPMU won out because in addition to other variables like user-friendly interface in the backend, I also needed to and was able to import and aggregate all blogs of a church whose staff were either using Blogger (pre Google purchase) or were using GreyMatter (yeah, the venerable blogging system using CGI) into one installation, WPMU 1.2. Amen ;0
Thanks for triggering this memory trip, how time flies.
I like the idea of having buttons for people to tweet your post. the only problem I have is that some people already have so many plugins that adding another one is just crazy sometimes. I actually visit the plugins for tweeting your post and some provide javascript which you can insert into your theme like Tweetmeme and Twittley. This is so much better for me.
