Ever been on Amazon.com and seen the “Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought”. So, why not apply the same concept to your WordPress blog?
Back in 2007, Mark released a plugin that would help you display the same on your WordPress blog.
We’ve been running it on this blog for the past year and a half. With WordPress 2.7, it was time to upgrade this plugin as well.
The plugin has been rebuilt with the basic features but enhanced with an admin interface that allows you to set various options, including the ability to optionally include the list of posts in your content or the feed.
You can also choose to manually add <?php if(function_exists('ald_wherego')) echo_ald_wherego(); ?>
where you want to display the posts.
How it works?
As and when readers click on links, this plugin checks to see if it was referred from your blog, checks to see if it can identify a post or a page from the information it has and then adds a link to the referring page.

This coupled with Contextual Related Posts the plugin will help retain your visitors and increase the time they spend on your blog.
So, give the plugin a shot and as usual your feedback and comments are welcome 🙂
Thanks for this, I’m going to try this out.
I hope it’s awesome 🙂
I have installed it and it just shows N/A. I guess it will take time to track visitors.
If it continues to show N/A, your theme might be missing some code. Check out the original plugin post for some troubleshooting tips.

Interesting plugin indeed! I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself! Will have to try it.
Awesome plugin idea…. Amazon does very very well using their “Customers who bought this also bought this” section….
woot!
tnx for this nice review! I just asked for it a few days ago! 😀
I am assuming that “Visitors who read this post, also read:” at the bottom of your post is this plugin? If so, it’s slick. I was just skimming the article at first and I saw that and thought it was cool and wanted to put it on my blog.
Well now I can.
Thanks for the post,
Communibus Locis
I’ll doubtless be trying this out soon! Great idea – will be good on a busy blog with a lot of content.
I have been using the plugin for a couple of weeks now and really love it. The plugin only shows where people go after the plugin has been installed which can make your blog look weak to new visitors from search traffic, so make sure you spend some time offering the visitors a place to or seed you blog yourself. I still haven’t got every page viewed since I installed it but I am working on it and another plugin you can use to help give randomness to where people went is stumble for wordpress.
