I am certainly finding these “Five” series of posts very educational.  There has been such great discussions around each one and I am learning a lot from all of the experience of the visitors here at the site.  I appreciate your willingness to speak up about what your likes and dislikes.  There is nothing like a spirited conversation and sharing of information to get the brain juices flowing. Live Blogroll

Vladimir Prelovac has come up with yet another cool plugin, this time called Live Blogroll. Live Blogroll replaces the default blogroll in that when a user hovers their mouse over a link, the rss feed from that site is aggregated in an Ajax created box showcasing the most recent (configured number) of posts. The Live Blogroll uses internal caching for feed discovery and WordPress caching for RSS feeds to keep everything from slowing down to a crawl. Vladimir is on a roll in terms of creating cool WordPress plugins. This one is yet another shining example.

Blogroll Ad Network

Blogroll Ad Network Where it really gets interesting is that the bloggers who opt into the program don’t just earn dollars but also a rotating link to their site in a special Sponsored Blogroll box that sits right on the Washington Post home page. There is a thought. Everyone wins (for the most part) beside the reader who gets to see more ads.
