Increasing AdSense Revenue on Forums: I can attest that not displaying ads on entry pages work better for the bottom line. I wish there were some further (publicly published) metrics on tweaking Adsense revenue. If there are links that are pertinent/experiences that work for people, please leave a comment.

Adsense featured WordPress theme

Tim Yang and Ozh have released Problogger Clean, a clean 3 columns theme with original features mostly aimed towards Adsense. Options are managed from an admin panel (using WordPress Theme Toolkit) which gives the theme a lot of functionalities and customization possibilities. The theme comes with built-in ads, so you won’t have a hard time trying to implement ads in a theme that was not designed for it. Its feature I like best : “Adsense Click Safety“, which prevents any click you could make on your own ads to be recorded, therefore to be counted as fraudulent. Podcasters, meet Fruitcast: Monetize your podcast with Fruitcast. I am relatively sure thtat high profile podcasters are already doing this in their own right. Podcasters can signup to the service for free, add your podcast to the podcast directory, and then simply change your feed to point to your new Fruitcast RSS feed. Fruitcast will then stick a small 10 to 15 second long advertisement message that is simple and unobtrusive to the beginning or end of your podcast (possibly both). When your podcast gets listened to, you will then earn money from an advertiser that has been accepted to place an ad on your podcast.

If you were ever thinking of running Chitika MiniMalls like the one showed in this post, use this referral to signup. (I do get some revenue from your referral). The ads were at an inopportune time for me and tended to produce about twice as much as Adsense in a given day over the small testing period I had setup. I might use them again in the future. Various different blog posts, sites and programs will help you tweak these ads to get the best results. Please understand that it is legal to run both Chitika Minimalls and Adsense on the same page as long as Chitika is set to be non-contenxtual. Link to signup for Chitika Minimalls
