Marius has rewritten my old Sticky post hack so that it works in WordPress 1.2 Here is the link for the new instructions for creating sticky posts in WordPress 1.2 Mingus. This basically lets you keep a post on top of your blog index page indefinitely. Thanks Marius.

Kitten’s Project Blog >> Comment Pay 1.0: Brainstorming can be really useful. I had come up with this idea a couple of weeks ago and had discussed it with Kitten at length. She has put together a preliminary plugin for WordPress which enables you to ask for payment for comments which are deemed as spam. In case the spammers decide to pay, the comments are posted. I have not looked at the details yet, but any method of accepting payments can be used and this will be an interesting experiment. We also have other plans to further this service, but more about that later. Good and fast job Kitten!

Sprint PCS moblog to WordPress 1.2 Mingus

I have half-finished the Sprint PCS script to create a moblog with WordPress 1.2 Mingus and it is ready for download. Just a couple of caveats I should mention and then some features. For all of you that have been having problems with IMAP, the problem might have been a version conflict and not the lack of IMAP support. I very strongly suggest that you try this script and if you still have problems, wait for the version with POP3 support. This script will let you post to a WordPress 1.2 Mingus blog from a Sprint PCS Vision enabled phone. It is designed to pick up the pictures from the jumble of markup that Sprint puts out on their webpage.
