decaffeinated archives :: Photon 1.0: Easily post photos stored in your iPhoto account to your Movable Type or Typepad blog. “No muss, no fuss” the site promises. The designs are pretty nice but I would like to know how usable this is.

[daily dose of imagery] bicycle and bricks: Incredible flash magnifier. I wonder if I can code this as an auto generated flash in Pictorialis as an added option. Though the flash can get mixed reactions, this could be useful on some photographs, especially with an option to turn it on or off. I wonder how I missed it all this time?

Sprint PCS moblog to WordPress 1.2 Mingus

I have half-finished the Sprint PCS script to create a moblog with WordPress 1.2 Mingus and it is ready for download. Just a couple of caveats I should mention and then some features. For all of you that have been having problems with IMAP, the problem might have been a version conflict and not the lack of IMAP support. I very strongly suggest that you try this script and if you still have problems, wait for the version with POP3 support. This script will let you post to a WordPress 1.2 Mingus blog from a Sprint PCS Vision enabled phone. It is designed to pick up the pictures from the jumble of markup that Sprint puts out on their webpage. The script visits the Sprint Vision website, downloads the picture from that site and saves it on your blog as a post. The install is really simple and once it […]

Photolog Script, WordPress Hack

I have noticed a few issues with Pictorialis II that I would like to address. – The display of thumbnails inside an album was a little weird. The pictures would overlap in some cases and vertical alignment was very poor. That is cleared up in this version and the positioning is much better – The ability to add pictures to an album after it was posted was shaky at best. This has been cleaned up so now you can add an album, wait for a few days and then add pictures singly to that album at your leisure and directly from your browser. – As promised, the NetPBM binaries needed for Pictorialis II is ready for download. To use these binaries simple unzip the folder and copy all the files into the wp-admin directory of your Pictorialis install. You can download the NetPBM binaries from here. – New logo from […]
