It’s been quite some time since we have reported back about Top100bloggers.com, but we’ve been really busy with the community. The community recently upgraded the site to a new and feature-rich application. With that upgrade came along a new design as well. Top100Bloggers.com has seen an exponentially amazing growth in the recent months. We have seen the community jump from only 100 members to currently over 700 members. We see new members signing up everyday, which is very encouraging to us as community builder. We, as the Top100Bloggers.com staff, are here to support the users and server the community as best as possible. We are always eager to receive feedback and hear about cool events going on in bloggers’ lives. As a last note in the update about our community, we recently (about 2 weeks ago), moved to a dedicated server because the shared hosting we were on was not […]

Blogging News

The Top100Bloggers.com staff has seen the largest turn out yet. We have had over 200 new signs ups and now have the community pushing over 400 members. With our new structure and system setup, we have seen over unique visitors shoot up to over 150,000 unique visitors last month alone. We already have over 75,000 unique hits this month and it’s only in the first week of the month. Our traffic has simply sky rocketed, resulting in the traffic to everyone’s blogs raising and the reader count increasing as well. As many of you know, running a service like this and getting that many hits can cause bandwidth to go up. This community was founded on the basic principal that we wanted to create a place for bloggers to come and be ranked by their visitors. We wanted to create a unity between all bloggers. Our community isn’t restricted to […]

Recently, there has been a full launch of Top 100 Bloggers. A community built within this site to help rank blogs accordingly to their activity and user traffic. A review and rating system are both intact for this top site listing. You may visit the home page of the new community by going to Top100Bloggers.com or simply clicking here to join. The concept behind this new community is quite simple. It’s nothing new, but it’s something that has finally been put together. There are many different lists out there for specific blogging systems, but this is bringing all bloggers together with unity. To become ranked on the top sites, you may add any of the images listed on the site, a text link, or a custom link of your own using the referral link specified for your ID. This community is not specific to any blogging system or blogger. All […]

WordPress Plugins

For quite some time now, Mark has had some PHP code snippets just hanging around here on the site. Feeling the need to create a plugin for it and cite the documentation a little better, I did so. You may now find the, once what was just code, plugin Top 10 Posts/Views. This plugin functions as a means to showing your top 10 posts (sorted by number of views) and displaying the total number of views on a per post basis. I have seen many sites use this code and now it is a plugin for all to use. Update on 04/08/05: I have updated this script with better documentation and easier use of the script. Please note the documentation in the script itself at the top and you may refer to this page I have created to show some examples of the code.
