@Mark: I agree with you – people hardly sees a theme according to the occasions but of course, having a slightly special theme will leave a good first impression on the visitors.
I don’t know about changing a theme for a holiday either, but a guy I know from work uses “Wicked Halloween” for his movie review site now. You can guess what kind of movies he likes to watch… exactly.
