How good is the bad behaviour plugin? I use askimet but it’s still a pain having to trawl through the spam folder to make sure it hasnt caught any real comments.
I definitely recommend Bad Behavior, but you’ll need to keep a very close eye on its logs (check them once a day at least), as it can block some legitimate visitors and legitimate site/plugin functions if configured too aggressively.
I also recommend Bad Behaviour, but its range is quite wide, not so great if you are specific with your filtering.
