The new year is here, so what are your blogging resolutions for 2011?

Are you going to try posting more often? Are you going to replace your outdated theme? Perhaps you’re finally going to take your blog to the profressional level, or maybe you’re considering starting a blog in the first place?

No matter what your plan is, we want to know! Please let us know in the comments below how you plan to change the way you blog or just change your blog itself in 2011.

I am going to do what I normally do and that is to just blog when I feel like it and on whatever topic takes my fancy.

I am looking at marking my images with RDFa over the weekend but it is not a set-in-concrete resolution.

  2. Yes for trying to post more often and replace my outdated theme.

  3. Steve Watson says:

My resolution is just that! To BLOG more and to drive people to blog on my site. I also will be setting up the 9Seeds WP-EVENT plugin for different events throughout the year!!!! I want to get to the point where people subscribe to my RSS feed as I do to Weblog Tools!!!!! GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!

  4. dgrut says:

    – learn alot

  5. Joe Cronin says:

My blogging resolution is to proofread more carefully. I hate seeing typos or poorly written copy when I’m reading other blogs.

  6. James Huff says:

Well, mine is to blog more on my personal blog, about once a day if possible.

  7. Nick Momrik says:

My goal is to blog real posts (not just short posts or reposting Tweets) more often to show what I’m up to in personal and work areas of my life. Hopefully my writing will be able to help others that want to do similar things with their life.

  8. Jim Mills says:

My resolution is to start over with Facebook and Twitter integration in my new blog, to use it more effectively for my visitors. (I didn’t do a very good job, first time around.) And I’ve also resolved to use my blog to do even more to improve the education options for all of the families whose kids are trapped in schools that ought to be better.

  9. I have set up a new blog and my goal is to post once a week, ideally with my own photos illustrating various aspects of “Carriages, Wagons, and other Railway things” during 2011.

  10. just started one at the end of 2010 , is easier to manage than a forum , & i already knew all there is to know about forums ,

professional ? .. hmm i sure hope it is !

& yes definitely i will try to make more posts than i did on the old forum

    * how about you guys take a look & leave me a message with your opinions

  11. Matthew says:

Update my site with the stack of draft articles that are currently sat in a text file.
Update the theme on the site to Something more current looking (I modified the one I currently use in 2005).
Add in more prominent to social networking sites (the blog has a corresponding twitter feed, Facebook page, Flickr profile etc – but I’m probably not making the most of these at present.

  12. Craig says:

Hmmm all of the above I suppose! Of course like all New Years resolutions the pressure to actually do it kind of works against the sentiment, so at least I want to maintain my activity levels!

  13. rebecca says:

Turning my graphic design blog that i never used enough into a travel blog as i start my travels through Europe for the next two years.

Share my awesome experiences with others πŸ™‚

  14. Hikari says:

Well, I’ve got a job and am doing MBA, so my available time is VERY small now. In the same time, I’m almost finishing developing my plugins and had just merged my 2 sites into a unique WP Network.

For 2010 I plan finishing my plugins, cleaning them and publishing all of them. Then I’m gonna finally complete my theme development.

I already started producing some posts, which I plan scheduling to be published in a timely manner, and when I have enough posts waiting to be published I’ll create 1 or 2 new sites. With a unique WP install and sites becoming only virtual, setup a new virtual site only takes the time to configure initial settings and then posting on any site is exactally the same as posting on a unique site.

If I have enough time, I’ll try to restart offering personal consulting πŸ™‚

  15. My resolution was to blog twice week – but I’m wondering if that is enough. How often do most of you blog? Just curious…

    @larryphoto

  16. Tilen says:

My resolution is to post every day and increase my income to $50 per day.
