Weblog Tools Collection is now available for subscription on the Kindle. There is a 14 day free trial if you would like to just try it out. So if you are a Kindle owner and a WLTC fan, please subscribe and let us know what you think. While I wish we could offer it for free, the charge is $1.99 (we get 30% of this amount).
If you want to publish your blog on Kindle, you can do it too! Be sure to let us know what you think of the experience if you choose to publish your blog on the Kindle. The Kindle forums are a little sparse at this time and the whole publishing page/venue is in beta so you might have some trouble. It was a breeze for us. Thanks to BloggingPro for the idea.
Uh-ho. Good-bye WLTC.
Why goodbye?
There is something I misunderstood. You’re welcome to delete my comment.
Note that, unless some form of authentication has recently been implemented, ANYONE can publish ANY BLOG on the Kindle Marketplace and charge consumers for it. There are several, including TechCrunch and the New York Times Bits blog that have been published by unrelated third parties.
Will the Kindle subscription get us access to articles that are not available on wltc.com? I’ve been hearing of some people offering their blogs on the Kindle, but haven’t heard how people can do it for their own gain or for their readers, rather than Amazon’s ….
Lol. Funny thing is that I tried that, and it terribly failed. The image uploader didn’t work and kept on coming back with no image, and when it got “Published”, nothing appeared. (Went to an error page.) – –
(Says it’s not functioning. LOL.)
I am interested in how this works. I wonder if this would help gain a nice amount of more readers and an opportunity to make a slight amount of money as well.
