Great idea for a contest Mark!

    • WindowsObserver (55 comments.) says:

I have 35 active and 2 inactive on my blog. The inactive do not stay around very long – too much of a keep it cleaned up type :-)

  2. Jason (75 comments.) says:

I’ll say you have 14 active and 21 inactive plugins.

As for me, I have 12 active and 13 inactive plugins running on my main site. That said, I have over a dozen WordPress sites use the very same installation of the software, and each site uses a different combination of plugins :P

  3. The Frosty @WPCult (11 comments.) says:

    34 Active 48 Inactive.

WPCult has 46 active and 18 Inactive. Damn!

  4. Simon (1 comments.) says:

At work we have 9 active and 2 inactive. We run a very tight… secure ship ;-)

On my personal blog 11 active and 7 inactive (I should REALLY clean out the garbage there) and on my family blog 7 active and 4 inactive.

The inactive one are usualy plugins I’m thinking of using or would “Like” to use but haven’t got around to yet… I’m pretty bad at clearing out plugins I’ve decided I’m definatly not going to use though.

My guess for WeblogTools… 17 active and 9 inactive :-)

  5. fahirsch (1 comments.) says:

    10 active and 13 inactive.
In my blog I have 39 active and 9 inactive

    34 active, 7 deactivated… right? :)

  12. photoTristan (1 comments.) says:

    17 deactive, 11 active.

  13. Miroslav Glavic (27 comments.) says:

I have 27 active, ONE inactive (this one puts a WE ARE DOING MAINTENANCE ON THE SITE).

  14. bubazoo (213 comments.) says:

I’ll say 100 active, 250 inactive. lol I figure that could be about right, if not more,
because I know for a fact there are about 900 WP plugins in existence altogether,
and I’m sure he’s tried out the majority of ‘em at one point or other.

  15. Chris (1 comments.) says:

    11 active, 8 inactive

I’m going to take a shot and say 21 activated and 24 deactivated.

I, myself, have 23 activated, 3 deactivated, and 2 more that I just deleted this morning. The only one I activate/deactivate from time to time is the Configurable Tag Cloud. It depends on the theme I’m using.

  24. Ivan Litus (1 comments.) says:

    0 active, 0 inactive

  30. George Serradinho (107 comments.) says:

    Hi,

    this is a great idea.

My guess would be 23 Active 31 Inactive.

My details are 23 active and 2 inactive. I try and not have to many active, but some of them are just for admin purposes.

  31. 13770 (2 comments.) says:

My blog has 29 actives and 51 inactives !

  32. Deniss (1 comments.) says:

I think 17 active / 21 deactivated for your blog.
Mine has 15 active /1 deactivated (Hello dolly :) )

  33. David (3 comments.) says:

I’ll say 3 active, 4 inactive. Somehow I just don’t see this site using a lot of plugins.

Myself, I am a plugin addict, I have way too many active, and even way too many more inactive, no wonder I never get stuff done, too busy upgrading plugins or adding more.

  34. Daniel (1 comments.) says:

    18 active, 8 inactive

  35. Stijn (8 comments.) says:

47 active and 10 inactive (if you’re anythin like me).

  36. Tommy Brunn (6 comments.) says:

I’m going to guess that you have 31 active and 16 inactive.

  37. Jacob Share (5 comments.) says:

Cool idea for a contest, if you can manage to stay frozen until a winner is found. I’ll say 49 active and 6 inactive.

JobMob currently has 44 active and 8 inactive.

  38. Matt (1 comments.) says:

I’m gunna say 5 active and 13 inactive.

    20 active, 32 inactive.

  40. Ömer Taylan Tu?ut (3 comments.) says:

For contest: 12 actives, 4 inactives

On my ownblog: 27 actives, 24 inactives (Inactives are the try-out of some plugins, i have to remove them :)

  41. John (1 comments.) says:

Wow, some people are using a lot of plugins. I’ve got 7 active, and I’m planning to reduce that by 2 by incorporating the functions that I need into the theme.

I think that you have 12 active and 19 deactivated.

  42. Peter Craddock (1 comments.) says:

I say you have 13 active and 20 inactive.

On my website, it’s 14 active and 6 inactive.

My guess is 16 activated and 62 deactivated.

  47. tcmo6 (1 comments.) says:

    18 active, 26 deactivated

  48. Abu Saad (3 comments.) says:

I have 40 activated & 79 deactivated plugins. This made the updating of plugins for me as a routine job daily. For testing purpose and keeping the good “rarely used” plugins are the main reasons for keeping the deactivated plugins.

So, I guess you have 15 activated & 110 deactivated plugins.

I hope to be the winner ;).

  49. Kat Henderson-Sturtz (1 comments.) says:

The answer is ONE. It depends on the theme and which plug-in. Any one plug-in could be the culprit on a specific theme.

Kat <— who loves her plug-ins

  50. Tom (1 comments.) says:

    7 active and 23 inactive

  51. _dave_ (1 comments.) says:

  53. Matthew says:

I’m going to guess 8 active, 13 inactive.

  54. PJ (1 comments.) says:

My guess is 9 active and 11 inactive. I currently have 25 active and 3 inactive, but there’s a few that I might replace with function hacks in time.

  55. Michelle (1 comments.) says:

How about 24 active, 0 inactive? With fewer inactive plugins, the admin area runs faster and the security risk drops. You seem very fast and secure! :-)

  56. Gargron (1 comments.) says:

13 deactivated and 7 activated, maybe?

  57. jh says:

lemme see, how about 12 active, 18 disabled.
