Episode 23 of WordPress Weekly is now ready for your consumption. In this episode, Keith and I discuss the IntenseDebate acquisition and what that means for both WordPress.com and WordPress.org while also discussing the business aspects of the deal. We also give our thoughts on the developmental version of WordPress 2.7 thus far. We highlight the fact that there has been at least two differen UI surveys available to the public highlighting the increased awareness as well as end user participation into the final product. There is a major difference between the way the UI is being handled in terms of end user feedback between WordPress 2.5 and WordPress 2.7. Last but not least, Keith and I give you our plugin picks up the week.

Great show guys!! Be afraid… be very afraid…
So glad the show is back. Nice job, Jeff… and Keith is a great co-host. I enjoy hearing his developer’s take on things.
where is that “press this plus” plugin at? what site was it? see I even went looking for it specifically on google and wasn’t able to find it. I wasn’t able to find it in the plugin repository either. once they fix that search, the plugin repository will be alot more useful to alot of uers.
I mean its getting so bad that when someone askes you to download a specific plugin, you can’t even find it to download. I wasn’t able to find it in the recently added plugins either. I mean, if you can’t even find stuff your looking for, how do they expect us to find something new? there’s like, way too many plugins for wordpress as it is, and then when you do want something, like “press this” for instance, do you know how many versions of that particular plugin are out there by different developers? like hundreds, so really what they need to do on the repository is delete out old plugins that haven’t been developed since 2.5 was released, that’ll cut down the list quite extensively right there. since really any pre 2.5 plugin won’t work for 2.5+ anyway ya know what I’m saying?
