Thanks, Tadd! The plain style is the whole point with the 1024px theme, it is a theme that simply does what it needs to do. And if someone wants to modify it, it is perfectly possible to do so.
If you (or anyone else) would have any questions or feedback about 1024px, feel free to contact me through my site or through the official WordPress.org support forum. I check for posts tagged with the names of my themes on a daily basis.
By the way, to see an example of what a website based on a lightly modified 1024px theme can look like, see Jokkmokk BHK (a local dog owners club in my hometown).
I really like Crush. Enough so that I’m currently hard at work adapting it to my own needs. I swear, each time I swap themes it seems like I spend longer and longer up to my elbows in code.
Starlite Diva is a 3 column theme with girlie design, right sidebar, and widget ready. It is compatible with up to WordPress 2.6

1024px is so nice and plain. We’re using WordPress on our intranet at work as a knowledge database and this was perfect for our base template.
Nicely done.
Um… if Grayplicity has a sidebar, why is it described as a one-column layout?
