Google Trends: weblogtoolscollection.com provides (slightly) interesting facts on your blog. Though the product is free, signing in is required to see the number estimates. Not all sites seem to have a lot of data in Google Trends but it was fun to browse the various links. Most interesting to me were the “also visited” section and the “also searched” section. Matt Cutts had an interesting writeup on Google Trends for websites a little over a week ago.

Google has an incredible amount of data to share and, with the founders being statisticians, it’s surprising that something like this wasn’t made available shortly after the introduction of Google Analytics.

That said, it could be an interesting tool for anyone that has a popular website. The technologies behind this uses some of the same data that Google leverages when testing out a new venture.

Thanks for the link, going to try it out!

  3. Currently it’s not tied in to Google Analytics, or at least not by default (perhaps through the sharing of data option that Google introduced recently). The numbers for my sites are completely off when compared with what’s in GA.

But I expect they’ll get better, and quick. And then it will be useful.

Third most number of visitors for your site are from India! And we seem to be searching more for Themes rather than plugins like the first two ranked countries 🙂
