I just want to let you know I appreciate this list. It is a great way to keep up on new plugin developments. Several times I have implemented one of the items on the list with great success. Keep up the good work.

  2. Jeffro2pt0 says:

I agree with Chris, I’m glad a location exists in which we can easily see what sort of new goodies people have come up with each week. It’s very hard not to install at least one of the plugins mentioned as I always see one that looks like it would be fun to play with.

  3. Flick says:

Thank you for today’s recommendation. I think WP Page Numbers has to be my favourite of the lot! 🙂

  4. Leland says:

Is it just me, or is WP Page Numbers the exact same thing as WP-PageNavi? Give or take maybe a few extra features…

Either way thanks for the list. SmartAds looks very interesting.

  5. cmolway says:

I was unable to activate the DivvaFlip plugin after uploading it. Oh well, it looks like a promising plugin.

  6. Phil says:

Yup. I agree with Leland, WP Page Numbers is a rip off from WP-PageNavi.

  7. kim says:

    gracias for these updates

  8. The Smart Ads plugin is also located on WP Extend: Smart Ads.

The one above is linked to WLTC News.

  9. Sarah says:

I succeed in installing the plugin DivvaFlip but I don’t arrive at making the mini-divvaflip to insert cool presentations in a post of my blog. I can’t activate this option. I love this plugin and I really want to use all its functionnalities.
    Some help??

Is it true that DivvaFlip works with the NextGen Gallery??

  12. Hi!

I’m the creator of WP Page Numbers. I have tested both WP-PageNavi and WP-Digg Style Paginator and yes there are similarities but also differences. The code of WP Page Numbers is completely different and I don’t agree that it’s a rip off.

I did not get WP-PageNavi to work with my WP Simple Sitemap plugin and that is the main reason for creating my own. WP Page Numbers works correctly even with query_posts() which I think is a good thing. It also have a number of themes to choose from which the other paging plugins don’t (as far as I know). I will continue to develop it as long as I feel there is a need for it and I got a list with suggestions for improvement.

    Regards

    Jens Törnell
