I can’t believe no one mentioned Edublogs.org.
I also use WordPress to publish lessons, chess lessons to be more precise. But since the number of lessons increased about 50 I am using a static page for the main navigation between the lessons in addition to the In Series plugin.
I think WordPress works rather fine for this kind of applications
+1 for http://edublogs.org as well. While it’s the same platform, using wp.com for this might cause issues with some school’s policies as a simple click might drop a student into another blog with adult content.
I agree that as a CMS WebBoard is nowhere near as good as WordPress so you are preaching to the converted here. I know which camp I’m in!
