ClickTale Heatmaps: Much like CrazyEgg, ClickTale promises to help you understand how users interact with your site to gain insights into maximizing usability of your site. In addition to cool heatmaps, ClickTale will offer videos of user actions including mouse movements and judging from their beta questionnaire, they are still feeling around for pricing models. Mashable has a nice writeup with screenshots. User action videos would be tres cool!

Genki Announcement lets you display an announcement to you blog visitors. WP Social Bookmarks is a plugin that will allow you to insert links to social bookmark sites in your WordPress posts. ClickBank Affiliate Plus allows you to add clickbank products to your posts and enabled to earn from ClickBank affliate program while people reading your posts. Genki Pre-publish Reminder will display a reminder list on your Post Admin page.

Let me kick off the Plugin a Day series with one of my favorite and indeed a must have plugin for all WordPress blogs. Name: Spam Karma 2 Plugin Page: http://unknowngenius.com/blog/wordpress/spam-karma/ Description: Spam Karma 2 (SK2) is an anti-spam plugin for WordPress. It is meant to stop all forms of automated Blog spam effortlessly, while remaining as unobtrusive as possible to regular commenters. How it works: SK2 comes feature packed with everything you need to keep your blog spam free. It includes a whole arsenal of filters that incoming comment has to go through. Each of these filters assigns a score called karma. Comments which end up with a negative karma are flagged as spam. The HitsLink plugin for WordPress lets you easily add HitsLink’s web tracking script to your site AWStats Xtended Info inserts the awstats_misc_tracker.js into each page WordPress serves, allowing AWStats to track additional items including screen size, Flash, PDF and Java support among other things.
