TheSpeedBlog is a fun two column WordPress theme with a widget enabled right-hand sidebar. Great for a motor racing fan of any kind. Adsense theme is a widget ready theme filled with Adsense ads. Salt and Pepper is a three column, fixed width, widget ready theme by Headsetoptions. geepressed is a simple, green, two column Theme for WordPress 2.0/2.1. Space Future is a search engine optimized two column theme. Blueline is a 3 column widget ready theme by GPS Gazette with one sidebar on the right and one to the left of the content area that uses a soft color scheme and very few images.

TextMark SMS Alerts TextMark is going to announce a paid service that sends SMS alerts for breaking news from a blog. I simply cannot see people paying upto $9.99 for this service. TechCrunch says that the bloggers get to keep a third of the subscription charges but in this world of RSS and River of News why would …. ? Oh, well. Thats not the crux of this post. I already run a service where users can send ringtones, pictures, applications and text messages to their cell phones from a browser as long as they have access to the Internet on their phones and can receive SMS/text messages. The code is really surprisingly simple and it has been running for years with very little input from me. WP Plugin: PXSMail with Akismet

I use the PSXMail plugin for the contact form on this blog and I recently started to get a whole bunch of spam-like inane comments that did not make a whole lot of sense. The Akismet API is so easy to setup and test that I figured I would add the Akismet comment test to the PSXMail plugin and make everyone’s life easier. In case others find it useful, you can download the latest version of this plugin below. Please report any bugs. NOTE: You have to have Akismet installed and activated as a plugin already with a valid Akismet Key. Upgrade: Simply upload the new file and Akismet will take care of everything in the background. Feedburner and Google Subscribers The Google Reader blog said yesterday that Google reader was now reporting subscriber numbers. The Feedburner folks were right on the ball (as usual) and now their subscriber numbers take into account Google Reader Subscriber numbers as well. Some other people have been reporting astonishing numbers.

IP City Cluster generates a geographical cluster map based on where from people access you website. It requires a statistics database (or logfile) that keeps track of the IP. wp-Table is a simple table manager for WordPress , you can import a excel table via the CSV import. Litebox Plugin incorporates Litebox to display both single images and galleries in your posts. authUI, a productivity plugin, provides a function that can be placed anywhere in a template to display a toolbar consisting of a log-in form, and links to creating new posts and pages. Random Image displays images from Desktop Exchange in your sidebar. WP Contact Form – Part III is another mod of Ryan‘s WP-Contact Form and Douglas‘ mod. It now includes custom Subject support. Head Meta allows you to add your own meta data or javascript to the meta section of your blog without editting your template files.
