While I am on the subject, I was really impressed with a video class that I have been taking recently. Beside the alacrity of Steven Tomlinson, I find that the videos are very well put together. With the increasing poplarity of video blogging and the increase in the number of people willing to watch online video blogs, I wish someone would produce a video blog with Steven’s format. Well, I talk about how good the format is, but never tell you what it is like. These videos are […]

Issue in Democracy Plugin If you are using the Democacy Plugin from Jalenack.com, you might want to take a look at these series of posts at the Blog Herald and at Blog Republic. Apparently, this plugin appends a string to every URI on your blog and CAN cause your pagerank to drop. Not a problem for most bloggers, but worthy of investigation.

WP Plugin: Plain Text Paste One of the greatest things about the WordPress community is the fact that if you can think of a need, it probably has already been fulfilled, you just have to look around. This plugin enables a WordPress blog to add on the Tiny MCE paste plugin so pastes from rich media does not destroy your blog’s format. I was just discussing this with my das last night.

WP Theme: Wave Very clean, crisp three column theme for WordPress with a space for noteworthy pages on the front page. Also of interest is the floating (or is i drop down) search bar at the top of the blog. I wish that was configurable since I find it quite distracting. This post and the few above are Via Scribez.wordpress.com

WP Plugin: Adsense Injection Insert AdSense ads in various different places on your blog with page loads. This reduces “banner blindness” by moving the ads around. Interesting conecpt and judging from the date of the post, it has been out for a while. I wonder if this really helps in increasing AdSense revenue. [EDIT] Looks like the link is down. [EDIT] Link back up.
