WP plugin: Inline Ajax Instead of redirecting users to another page to read “the rest of the entry” when using the “More” tag in WordPress, use AJAX to display the rest of the entry inline. You can also configure the plugin to display all the comments, comment box and even allow posting of comments without ever navigating away from your front page. Installation is not as simple as drag and drop; it does require modification of some core files.

WP Plugin: Updated Social Bookmarks Updated version of this social bookmarking plugin sports an admin interface and allows an external stylesheet to control the display of the icons. I personally am really overwhelmed by the sheer number of icons that show up on many blog posts and am interested to know how many people actually use those icons to bookmarks topics and/or pages. I would really like to know how many of my readers have actually clicked on the two icons (on this blog) to bookmark a certain post and how much more or less useful they would have found the social bar to be if there were more icons on the list.

Google Code Search Search wthin public source code to use, re-use and as The Technology Chronicles puts it, to admire. Some interesting formatting and presentation ideas but one feature that took my by surprise is the license associated with the code. All of the code in the search linked above came back as “Unknown License”. I wonder how they figure out the licensing information? Still very cool.

WP Theme: Merdeka Very clean one column theme for WordPress with some cool flourishes. The navigation bar is at the top of the page and folds down to reveal a hemingway like navigation interface. Check out the demo here. Lots of small icons and design details added in, including a nice calendar like date display that has been showing up on a lot of themes recently. Thanks BloggingPro
