Time Person of the Year: You Time Magazine chooses the individual web user as Person of the Year (though obviously a misnomer). “the World Wide Web became a tool for bringing together the small contributions of millions of people and making them matter”. A very interesting read. Thanks BloggersBlog

    You should know that for the election of the Person of the Year, Time ignored the results of their online poll, where Hugo Chavez (president of Venezuela) had the majority… If he deserved the title or not it’s another subject, the interesting thing it’s that Time ignored the same people they elected as “person of the year”, that is, “You”, the voters

    People actually buy into this? I thought Jon Steward did a wonderful job of showing just how silly the whole thing is.
