Read 225 Newspapers from 55 countries online The link name says it all. Looks like it is *still* free (as in beer) and somewhat serves the purpose. Not sure if I would pay for the service though. I wonder how many copyright violations are occuring here if this is not a licensed service and how much it will end up costing. The allure *must* be the format since the original paper medium is quite unweildy, online representation through narrower blinders without a proper search and seek (or a searchable index that is non-graphical) interface makes the experience a “peck and peek” at best. In spite of its shortcomings, something (nostalgia?) makes me quite like this service for a casual looksee.
