Does anyone have any personal experience with W3 Total Cache? I’d love to use it but want to know from other WordPress users if it helped showed significant improvement on your site?
Thanks for these James – been looking for a lightweight Snippets one for quite a while.. in fact had just commented on it a few days back on your previous plugin post… this would work nicely for HTML code segments too… trying it out tomorrow!
Joey – W3 Total Cache is pretty good.. I used it for a while and switched to WP SuperCache because it played nicely with my other plugins… both made a significant difference in terms of load times so I’d recommend either.
I used SuperCache for awhile, BUT, using disk cache on a high volume traffic isnt such a good idea. I am using varnish cache server in front of an nginx+php-fpm. All pages loading under 900ms and also saves ALOT of CPU, thus, varnish serves the content directly from memory.
I agree with Adidasi Dama, I am not using any cache plugin because I always need to update each post to insert links in them. I may use any cache plugin in future but at present I don’t like to create/delete cache…
I used W3 total Cache too. I’ve updated to latest version, but I found some problem on it. But after I search solution to overcome the problem, finally the plugin work normally again.
Facetious looks promising. A lightweight plugin for advance search ( just 10KB). I will add it to my site. I don’t use any caching plugin. Is it useful for low traffic sites ?
