WordPress 2.5 is Released!…
After long wait for 3 months since I upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1, WordPress 2.5 is now final released! This latest wordpress has improved so much compared to the previous version. Fortunately, I did not upgrade mine so fast.

I think they left out the version text “You are using a development version (2.5)”
I upgraded after viewing this news on my dashboard… unfortunately, now the updated dashboard says something like this:
You are using a development version (2.5). Cool!

Already solved the problem. Advanced-Admin-Menus was on. When it was of the theme-editor menu came ahead.

Frickin thing went crazy on me – had to delete my entire directory and re-upload the old one for now…

Can someone help Eng update Akismet Auntie Spam (a greasemonkey script)? He apparently doesn’t have access to the new dashboard and won’t be able to update it for a while.
This script is the reason I use Greasemonkey and makes scanning the spam moderation queue in WordPress cake.

There is a plugin which automatically does the work for you. It’s a great time saver and it works great. Check out the shortcut for upgrading to WordPress 2.5
Use it and you are on the latest version in no time.
