    THANK YOU mark =D

We also use some of GaMerZ’s plugins…specifically the rating plugin. The best thing about his plugins is that he has a support forum which he checks often. He’s been very helpful every time we’ve needed his help.

I use WP-Ban, WP-Polls, and WP-Stats on my blog. I especially recommend WP-Ban–just since I installed the upgrade that keeps count, it’s kept more than 200 comments from repeat spammers out of my Akismet queue.

This is nice news. GaMerZ probably has the monopoly of the “small-and-invisible-but-highly-useful” plugins out there :)

I wish he didn’t wrap the plugins below two levels of directories, though. I can’t automate the upgrades that way.

I always have to go in and move the folder contents out of the first dir, and that’s not always easy to do from the office.

eduo: Thanks for the compliments, as I created those plugins before WordPress got its plugin repository, it is a bit hard to change the path as things might break here and there and it will be a hassle to upgrade from the previous version to the new version that has the path changed. Sorry about that. The zip downloaded from http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programming.php is only 1 level deep.
