I use a perl script to back up my set of databases, and it emails a tarball to my Gmail account for offsite backup.
My database backups have saved my butt a couple of times in the past
Recently my website got hacked. I somehow recovered it. Still I am in a fear of a hack. How should I backup all my contents including all my post and images? Please tell me the difference between database and wordpress tables backup ? I am using bigrock for file hosting …in my bigrock account there is a database backup option. My 6 month backup is around 175 MB. It is a winrar file. Is that file enough to recover all my website contents to back when it got hacked? How we can perform a backup using PhpMyadmin?
