Blogging from Word 2007 Microsoft Word 2007 will come with blogging support which will produce cleaner code. The screenshots look like other WYSIWYG desktop blogging tools and should come with common posting support including the Metweblog (for the blog and pictures) as well as the ATOM API.

BackupMyBlog: Daily, remote, PHP and MySql based blog backup solution. At this time they are running a free beta but it sounds like it will be a paid service. You could easily do this daily with wp-backup and wp-cron but remote backups might be a better solution for you. Maximum space allowed is 10 MB (which would not work for larger blogs). Anyone have any experience with them?

WP theme: MW Another theme I missed and I quite like. Blocky, shaded theme for WordPress with lots of place for ads (seems to be the norm nowadays). In looking through some of the blogs that have used this theme, it looks like AdSense ads can be tastefully placed within this theme.

WP theme: RoundFlow Hemingway like theme for WordPress with wacky colors. I would almost remove the blue bar at the bottom. Has a modern LJ feel to it.

AIM Pages: AJAXier, cleaner and nicer than Myspace but will AIM really be any competition? Would the allure or pre-population of your AIM buddies make you switch from Myspace? Heck, do you have a Myspace page?

The redesign competition for weblogtoolscollection.com has received a lukewarm response with many people expressing interest but only a few coming up with examples for the redesign. To keep from beating a dead horse, I just will end the competition without any results.
