The following is a quote from a post on a theme blog: Hello, I plan on posting a thread about this on digitalpoint, but I thought I would put the information here as well. I am selling two sponsor links to this theme which will appear in the footer where it says “Sponsor One” and “Sponsor Two”. I will be selling each link for a BIN price of $120 and a starting bid of $20! (BIN for both links together is $180).You may say, why would I pay this price for one link at the bottom of a theme?!Your answer: This theme will be promoted on many wordpress theme sites (I’ll list them below) and will be seen by many wordpress bloggers who will hopefully choose to use it on their blog. Each person that chooses to use the theme is another link that you have to your site, which […]

Name: Sphere It Plugin Plugin Page: http://sphere.wordpress.com/2007/03/31/sphere-it-plug-in-for-wordpressorg-bloggers/ Description: Add an AJAXified link for contextual related posts to your WordPress blog from Sphere Features: Simple install, easy integration, huge user base, growing list of partners Future Plans: … Review: Sphere It is very simple to install and a breeze to use. Just drop into your plugins directory and activate through your control panel. This plugin is reminiscent of social networking plugins such as Alex’s Share This and of dynamic related items such as Waypath. I like the plugin. Many of the big boys are using it and Sphere is less gimmicky and more useful. A click on the Sphere icon opens up a new AJAX window with a few related posts from other bloggers talking about the linked topic and a set of related articles from the blogosphere and news sites. Of course, TechCrunch has their own modified version of the […]

Google Launches Pay-Per-Action This new beta launch of Pay Per Action Ads from Google and AdSense has really gotten the affiliate marketing industry in a tiff (though I must be over estimating the reaction). In simple terms, you can setup keywords to display ads from, make them look like ordinary AdSense ads and when your user clicks the ads and performs a certain action, you get a cut. I love Andy’s spin on the issue. Of course the blogosphere is abuzz with this news. I know that Darren signed up for the beta test and I would love to hear some real feedback. Is this really another spin?
