SeaWorld, WordPress and conversations

Social Media Marketing at SeaWorld They put up a WordPress blog and uploaded raw content to Flickr and YouTube. They then worked the online communities focused on roller coasters to get the word out. This article is based on a video podcast by Shel Israel of FastCompany.tv. The question in my mind is not how we measure but what we measure as the outcome of a social media marketing strategy and how we know that it is time to measure a particular set of results.

WP Plugin: Flickr Album There have been other versions of this plugin floating around but this one caught my eye because the example albums seemed very nicely put together and since I am my best yardstick, I consider this plugin well put together. It even adds a “recent Flickr Photos” on your admin screen when creating a new post in case you want to add one of them to the new post you are writing. PS: I love the tagline: MSG free since 2005

I might be mocking the concept, but micropayments are not just theory anymore and this could be the beginning of something big. I am sure some blog enterpreneur is already hatching up a plot. Would you visit weblogtoolscollection more often and pay closer attention to the content if you were going to receive something in return for doing so?
