Adobe Contribute and WordPress

Adobe Contribute and WordPress Adobe contribute now works with WordPress and other blogging tools to allow users to post and publish content from within Adobe, Macromedia and Microsoft applications directly to blogs as well as other publishing applications and CMSs. Lots of tricks and features built in, including workflow and authoring permissions (not sure how it is implemented). I like their selling point that it will help users get started with blogging by integerating blogs into existing and familiar publishing environments.

Montana Tech Chemistry I know the name of the link is weird, but this is a very cool blog. I would have loved to have had a podcast from my professor, let alone a complete blog trying to engage me in the subject and get as much information to me as possible. Kudos! Web Board sucks. Thanks Blogging Times

SixApart Vox So where is VOX? I remember a bunch of hoopla on the original Comet hosted blogging platform and remember thinking to myself that they are following the same path as WordPress.com with a small and private group of users with plans expanded to a larger audience while they learn the ropes of their new software. Most of the stuff looks like a web 2.0 rehash of most things cool put together with LiveJournal. Anyone use VOX? PS: I wonder if FeedBurner had to fix their “xx readers” script to accomodate TechCrunch’s cool 100k.

CNN: Blogging for Dollars A nice run down of some real numbers in the new web 2.0 blog to riches phenomena. Much of this information has floated about the web for a while but this article is well researched (CNN Money) and is an interesting read. Of similar interest is another series of articles from CNET on venture capital for bloggers. PS: Why in the world is TechMeme so darn difficult to link to?? I really like the ability to point to a series of articles but digging through jumbled code is a pain to say the least. I know that the “New Item Finder” can be used in some cases, but not all items seem to show up on that list.
