[Continue Reading...]WordPress iTunes Plugin: Post currently played song from iTunes on your WordPress blog.
[Continue Reading...]Flickr Gallery 0.4: Plugin for WordPress. This one should be really cool. From what I can tell from the plugin, you post to Flickr and the plugin will get the photographs from Flickr, cache them locally and then post them on your blog. REST is used to make the API calls to Flickr to get the information. The coolest part of this plugin is that it incorporates the “Notes” of Flickr. This code can be used outside of WordPress as well since it really does not use any of the WordPress code. Thanks Ray!
[Continue Reading...]Introducing Spam Karma: More Spam fighting goodness. This is the one plugin that does it all and keeps track of it all. More robus than anything else so far. It DOES use a captcha as well.
[Continue Reading...]The Witch: WP Pulse: A graphical representation of commenting activity on your blog. Similar to Photomatt’s Blogtimes, but now with comments. This comment on the original forum post made me laugh…”CODE BLUE! WOOOP! WOOOP! My blog’s gone into defib! Set for 150. CLEAR! FOOMP! Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.”
[Continue Reading...]Photomatt: Spambot Stopper: A very conservative SpamBot prevention plugin that checks a hidden field in comments. A good solution for a while before the spammers figure out the secret field name.
[Continue Reading...]Posting video to WordPress: A cool addition would be a mobile video blogging tool. I might try and borrow Jennifer’s phone and whip something up. Via: BloggingPro
[Continue Reading...]Post Teaser WordPress plugin: Interesting plugin that lets you create teasers for long posts. I could see a lot of use for this if you like having a “more” link in your posts.
[Continue Reading...]New anti-spam trick: Check if your comments came from open proxies before even beginning to process them. I like Kitten’s suggestion that this should go in before the wp-comments-post.php in WordPress. This trick can be used in non-Wordpress blogs as well. Via: PhotoMatt
