Feedvertising Text-Link-Ads has released the beta version of their advertising service for feeds. I am a huge proponent of Text-Link-Ads and Feedvertising makes it easier for bloggers (especially bloggers using WordPress) to display ads in their feeds. Not only can you offer ads from advertisers, you can also reserve spots to highlight your own links and sites.

I remember a bunch of hoopla on the original Comet hosted blogging platform and remember thinking to myself that they are following the same path as WordPress.com with a small and private group of users with plans expanded to a larger audience while they learn the ropes of their new software. Most of the stuff looks like a web 2.0 rehash of most things cool put together with LiveJournal. Anyone use VOX? PS: I wonder if FeedBurner had to fix their “xx readers” script to accomodate TechCrunch’s cool 100k.
