Hide Unwanted Shortcodes prevents unwanted shortcodes from showing on blog. Update Active Plugins Only tells WordPress to only check for updates to active plugins. Updated plugins Front-end Editor allows inline editing of your content. Theme-Check allows you to run checks on the current theme before uploading to WordPress. This plugin uses the same API and is kept more or less in sync with the WordPress.org uploader tool.

WordCamp SF 2011 Call for Speakers

WordCamp San Francisco, “the official annual conference of the WordPress open source project” and heralded by many as the largest annual gathering of WordPressians, is putting out the call for speakers for the 2011 convention. This year’s WordCamp SF will be held at the Mission Bay Conference Center from August 12th – 14th, and they are “expanding the programming for publishers, bloggers, and developers.” I’ll definitely be there this year. bbPress 2.0 Beta 2 has been released. bbPress development is moving much quicker than anticipated due mostly to volunteer contributions. Since the previous release, the following changes have been made: GlotPress integration Fixes Forum archive bug on some installations Fixes and improvements to importer Adds home link support to breadcrumb Adds missing breadcrumbs to various template files Adds filters for future anti-spam support Improvements to templates and CSS Improvements to Theme Compatibility Improved RTL support Improved multisite support Topic/reply trash fixes bbPress 2 is still not necessarily ready for use on a live site yet, but bbPress theme and plugin developers are encouraged to start testing now.
