The Google +1 plugin adds the Google +1 button to your site so your visitors can vote to tell the world how great your site is.

Update Active Plugins Only tells WordPress to only check for updates to active plugins.

Updated plugins

Front-end Editor allows inline editing of your content.

Do people actually use that +1 thing? I’ve never seen it on anyone’s blog, let alone people actually voting up a post with it. I guess I’ll try it…

It is new so not too many have heard about it yet i guess but it will prob become as pop as diggdigg (maybe) I am goint to wait until it is inclded in DD so to not have it alone as seperate plugin. If not added in a month or so I may add by itself. I do think it may help by what I have read about it.

  3. Angie says:

I highly doubt it. Virtually everything Google tried to get into lately was a major failure. Knol or Buzz immediately come to mind. Don’t expect the +1 to actually get anywhere or mean anything.

  4. Paul says:

Google fails to understand that pressing such a button is a small instance of personal expression. Facebook makes this very clear with the thumbs-up “like” button. Google’s +1, however, seems to speak the language of code, not the language of your average human. It’s an “increment button” … yay. Just what I want/need?!
